About Me

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page to give me the opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Deborah Creedy and I am a fully qualified counsellor/Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) having completed a CBT Diploma in Counselling and Group Work, as well as the COSCA Counselling Skills course. I am also a qualified Havening Techniques® Practitioner. I have a first class BA Honours degree in the social sciences. I am a registered member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, member of the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO) and have full insurance cover as well as membership of the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

I strongly believe that if we can find the connections within ourselves which are right for us through our own wisdom then we can be our best selves, find wholeness and connect lovingly and strongly to both ourselves and our social worlds. We would work collaboratively as a team on what you bring to therapy in a compassion informed way.

Becoming a Havening practitioner increased my knowledge of trauma and I have undertaken further trauma courses. I am currently actively exploring eco-distress through a sustainable mental healthcare course.

I am based in Glasgow and work virtually or by telephone. I have a qualification for working with clients online or by telephone which is recognised by the Association of Counselling Therapy Online (ACTO).
